Catching the bug!
Last week I finally came out of my exhibition hibernation and once again inflicted my artwork on the unsuspecting public. I also found myself visiting another exhibition in what turned out to be a very cultural and inspiring week.
I had 3 pieces of artwork along with a selection of prints on show as part of the Cult House Fusion IV exhibition at the Candid Arts Trust in Islington. It was another great Fusion exhibition curated by
Neto with different events on every day. There was some amazing artwork on display and I got to meet lots of new people. I also had the opportunity to discuss future ideas on developing some of my art work, as Marc Craig told me, they need to be much bigger, advice that I’m definitely taking, so look out for my massive artwork in the future! I also had the opportunity to discuss a potential collaboration that I’m really excited about and can’t wait to start working on. I also managed to get to the Premiums exhibition at the Royal Academy before it finished. The exhibition is a testing ground for new artists half way through their studies at the RA. My favourite artwork by far was a few pieces by Matilda Moors, her cartoon style drawings and colours used were so striking and effective. I’m definitely going to play around with some of these ideas and colours for future artwork.
Thank you to everyone who came to the Fusion exhibition and to Neto for arranging another brilliant exhibition, roll on Fusion V. I’ve now got the exhibition bug again.....
